Overview : The Web Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications across various platforms. The focus will be on building and managing websites and applications using WordPress, Angular, Node.js, GraphQL, PHP, and JavaScript. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications is also essential. Candidates with experience in SharePoint, Microsoft Power Platform, and Azure will be given strong consideration. This role reports to the IT Director. Responsibilities / Essential Functions
Develop, maintain, and optimize dynamic websites and web applications using WordPress, Angular, Node.js, GraphQL, PHP, and JavaScript. Integrate Restful and GraphQL APIs into web applications. Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions on time. Manage, troubleshoot, and optimize performance for existing web applications. Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design across devices. Support the goals of the company's technological alignment efforts. Seek out and implement continuous process improvement opportunities. Support internal communications related to business improvements, system upgrades, and enhancements. Build and sustain working relationships with all AUS functional areas. Ensure accurate governance policy development and adherence. Report on statuses when requested. Submit all time and expense reports accurately and timely. Maintain good standing and completion on all compliance-related matters. Perform additional duties as directed by the supervisor. Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Proven experience in web development using WordPress, Angular, GraphQL, JavaScript. Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend frameworks. Experience with database systems and SQL, with a preference for SQL Server. Strong understanding of Git and version control systems. Ability to create process flow and data flow diagrams. Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and in a team. Customer-centric service approach. Ability to define business cases, determine ROI, and measure success. Manage multiple concurrent deliverables. Strong collaboration and team-building skills. Professional verbal and written communication skills. Attention to detail and quality of work. Willingness to seek coaching and guidance. Working Environment / Safety Requirements
Ensure a suitable remote working environment. Availability to handle work issues during all hours, including 24/7 support. Willingness to travel as needed for work purposes. Experience / Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or six+ years relevant experience. Ability to translate insights into actionable steps. Experience with project management tools and methodologies. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred but not required. Legal ability to work in the U.S. (U.S. citizen or legal resident). License Requirements / Certifications
Valid U.S. driver’s license. Benefits
