Your Mission As a Database Engineer II, you will help automate system security evaluations, leverage your expertise in database design and development to improve monitoring and data gathering, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop workflows, database structures, and parsing software.

Innovative and forward-thinking in automating database solutions
Technical and detail-oriented in database design
Collaborative in integrating database capabilities with applications
Proficient in modern database frameworks and tools
Daily Responsibilities
Develop and maintain database structures
Lead workflow creation to replace manual processes
Provide expertise in database design and data analysis
Support development and testing of Python-based ReST endpoints using Django and Flask
Work with databases like MariaDB, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL, sending data in JSON format to UI front ends
Minimum Qualifications
TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and at least 5 years of relevant experience
Proficiency in Python and experience with MongoDB or MariaDB
Experience with Django or Flask
Understanding of ReST endpoints and microservice architecture
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with Swagger API documentation
Experience with AWS, C2S, or other cloud environments
Knowledge of Docker, JSON, XML serialization
Experience with Jira, Confluence, Git, and Agile environments
