Director-Client Services, Delivery and Operations
Client: AM Law Firm Location: Chicago, IL Type: Full-time, On-site Job Description: A top-tier law firm is seeking a full-time Real Estate Paralegal to join its Chicago office, supporting a national Real Estate Practice Group. This position will report to the Practice Group Leader and work under the daily supervision of assigned attorneys. Key Responsibilities: Conduct and coordinate due diligence including review of title commitments, surveys, zoning reports, and supporting documentation. Assist in drafting and reviewing real estate conveyance and closing documents. Manage real estate closings (acquisitions, dispositions, financings) including checklist management, document execution, and post-closing assembly of closing books. Prepare and file UCC financing statements; review UCC/lien/litigation searches. Assist in entity formation and compliance filings. Assemble and review officer’s certificates, resolutions, organizational documents, etc. Conduct legal research and reporting as needed. Interface with clients and third parties regarding transactions. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or associate degree with Paralegal certification. 5–7 years of commercial real estate experience, preferably in a law firm, legal department, or title company. Proficient in title and survey review. Exceptional organizational and communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office, PDF tools, DMS, and timekeeping software. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines. Discretion with sensitive information is essential. Seniority level
