This role is hybrid and requires 3 days onsite at our Merrillville, Indiana corporate office. WHAT YOU’LL DO Collaborate with the Talent Development team, corporate support teams, and property subject matter experts (SMEs) to design and develop industry-leading training curriculum and materials. This includes instructor-led, blended, and virtual courses, onboarding and training plans, as well as supporting materials and resources. Update current training programs and design/manage an ongoing maintenance process to ensure materials are relevant, accurate, and leveraging adult learning practices to maximize learner retention. Utilize a variety of different multimedia formats including video editing, eLearning authoring tools, peer-to-peer/scenario experiences, and content curation to create high quality material that aligns with learning objectives. Design methods of evaluations and assessments to track and measure learning effectiveness. Manage timelines, resources, and deliverables through effective prioritization and efficient work practices. Display curiosity, ask questions, bring your own creativity, and use a consultative approach to partner with SMEs and stakeholders in the design and development of learning. We are an all hands-on deck team, so there will be times where you’ll need to jump into other duties as assigned. Being flexible is the name of the game! WHAT YOU’LL BRING Demonstrated expertise in effective Instructional Design and ADDIE methodologies; experience in curriculum development for restaurant, hotel, or retail preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.) Proficiency in eLearning, design, and multimedia production tools (Articulate 360, Camtasia, Adobe Creative Cloud). Passion and talent for developing and delivering high-quality training programs. High-level attention to detail and accuracy in execution of work.
