We are looking for a mission-driven
Cybersecurity Analyst
to support high-impact security compliance efforts in
Suffolk, VA . This is a key role responsible for ensuring system security throughout the development lifecycle and driving Risk Management Framework (RMF) efforts in support of national defense initiatives. What Youll Do: Serve as the primary security compliance agent for critical systems. Conduct vulnerability and risk assessments across all phases of the system development life cycle. Develop and review RMF packages, ensuring systems meet Navy cybersecurity requirements. Analyze and interpret vulnerability scans, network scans, and traffic logs. Implement STIGs (Security Technical Implementation Guides) and other DoD security controls. Provide actionable recommendations to resolve complex information assurance (IA) challenges. Monitor network traffic and user activity for potential threats and policy violations. What You Bring: Minimum 1 year of relevant Navy IA or cybersecurity experience. Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline. Experience with RMF, STIG implementation, and vulnerability scanning tools. Strong analytical skills and a proactive mindset toward cybersecurity threats. Active TS/SCI security clearance (required).
