Overview
The Program Manager II demonstrates FAR and DoD knowledge in every aspect. The program manager is knowledgeable in all contract requirement efforts.
Responsibilities
Must demonstrate competence in project management, technical competence in discipline field(s) and knowledge of industry policies and practices
Demonstrates knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Department of Defense (DoD) regulations, requirements, policies and procedures, cost and schedule estimating, systems disciplines, engineering specifications and commercial practices relating to weapon systems procurement and production The Program Manager is knowledgeable of overall organization, direction, and requirements of the contract efforts Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts in Business, Management, Engineering or Science required. Master of Science or Master of Arts preferred. Experience: Five years of experience in Program/Project Management required. Six years of experience preferred. Any combination of education/experience may be substituted for job requirements at the recommendation of the hiring manager and approval of the COO or higher.
