BakerRipley Reporting to the Senior Director of Development, the Manager of Corporate Relations initiates and executes strategies for all phases of the gift cycle (identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation, stewardship) to secure renewed, increased, and new corporate funding.
Expected Outcomes
Fundraising and Strategic Philanthropy Grow corporate partnerships by increasing revenue (10% in year one), maintain a positive donor retention rate, and develop and implement a comprehensive philanthropy strategy aligned with the agency’s greatest needs. Engagement and Communication Create high-impact engagement opportunities for a portfolio of approximately 100 donors and prospects each year, in addition to the creation and completion of LOIs, applications, and stewardship reports. Measurement and Reporting: Utilize existing data, leverage technology, and employ the CRM system to influence individual and team fundraising strategy and measure success.
Essential Functions
Initiate and execute strategies for all phases of the gift cycle (identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation, stewardship) to secure renewed, increased, and new corporate funding. Create customized engagement plans for all assigned corporate donors and prospects that may include tours, meetings, volunteerism, execution of recognition benefits, and distribution of publications such as the annual report, newsletters, and event invitations. Write, edit, and submit thank you letters, letters of support, letters of inquiry (LOI), applications, and impact reports to ensure gift compliance, communicate impact, and provide good stewardship. Cultivates and maintains relationships with corporate program officers, promoting ongoing stewardship through execution of recognition benefits, distribution of publications such as the annual report, newsletters, and event invitations. Prepares agendas and briefings for donor/prospect meeting and recommendations for engaging executive/board leadership to engage current and prospective funders. Manages a calendar of deliverables to ensure excellent stewardship reporting and timely submission of deliverables related to philanthropic support. Motivate corporate partners’ workforce to volunteer their time and advocate on behalf of BakerRipley. Solicit sponsorships for agency fundraising events. Supports the Senior Director of Development with special projects and other duties as assigned.

5 years:
At least five years of direct fundraising experience required. Experience in lead generation, prospect/donor research, and philanthropic strategy to identify new funding sources.
