Role and Responsibilities : The Customer Data & Insights Analyst will build the foundational systems that deepen our understanding of customers across all channels: DTC, Amazon, and wholesale. This role is hands-on and high-impact. You'll build dashboards and infrastructure, analyze both qualitative and quantitative data, and turn insights into strategic recommendations that shape experiences, marketing campaigns, fulfillment choices, and even our products. Reporting to the Director of Customer Experience, you'll work with teams across the entire organization including Service, Marketing, Wholesale, Finance, Quality, and R&D teams. Customer Insights Infrastructure Build dashboards and reporting systems that synthesize data from multiple sources (e.g., Shopify, Amazon, support tickets, customer reviews, Google Analytics, Microsoft Helium). Create scalable processes to extract structured and unstructured customer feedback, behavior, and trends. Qualitative & Quantitative Data Analysis : Analyze customer journey and behavior patterns across segments, platforms, and channels. Identify pain points and conversion drop-offs; recommend actionable solutions backed by data. Turn qualitative feedback (from reviews, returns, customer service tickets) into reports that guide decision-making. Conduct research to answer specific questions about our customers or gain a deeper understanding of those we serve. Cross-Functional Enablement : Deliver insights to teams across Service, Growth & Marketing, Wholesale, and Quality as an input to guide projects and priorities. Contribute customer data and feedback to product development, enabling our commitment to continuous product improvement Help teams understand customer preferences by channel and segment, identifying areas of opportunity and risk. Guide social media strategies through a deeper understanding of our audience and engagement trends. Example Projects : Design and field a customer survey to better understand consumer preferences on specific ingredients and flavors. Aggregate customer review data to inform updates to product reformulations. Develop a customer sentiment dashboard to deepen our understanding of how our social media engagement is resonating with our audiences. Audit and report on shipping reliability by analyzing delivery timelines and claims to evaluate performance by carrier, zone, and fulfillment partner. What you'll bring : 2+ years experience in a data, analytics, or insights role (ecommerce, CPG/consumer products strongly preferred). Strong command of SQL, with experience building dashboards from scratch (using tools like Sheets, Looker, Tableau, etc.). Experience creating Voice of Customer or customer feedback reporting programs. A systems thinker who can connect fragmented data sources into clear stories and recommendations. High emotional intelligence and customer empathy: you care about what makes a great experience and can read between the lines of support tickets or reviews. Strong communication skills and the ability to translate analysis into clear, persuasive recommendations. A self-starter who is comfortable operating independently, building from zero, and iterating fast. A desire to contribute to an early-stage CPG company with the mission to help people increase muscle and decrease fat. Practicalities : This is a full-time role.
