Infosys is seeking a Quality Engineering Lead - Telecom, Selenium, API Testing
As a QA Test Lead, you will act as a validation and quality assurance expert and review the functionality of existing systems. You will conduct requirement analysis, define test strategy & design and lead execution to guarantee superior outcomes. You will also be required to design an optimal test environment to simulate real-time scenarios. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with some of the best talent in the industry to create innovative high quality and defect-free solutions to meet our clients’ business needs. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. Candidates must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX
or must be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel within the US. All applicants authorized to work in the United States are encouraged to apply 4+ years of experience in software QA, with at least 2 years in a lead role. Strong domain knowledge in telecom systems Proficiency in test management and defect tracking tools. Preferred Qualifications
E xperience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI). Exposure to cloud-native telecom solutions Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python)for test automation. Experience in performance and load testing of telecom applications 4 years of experience in Automation and testing Skills in creating Test Strategy, Test scenarios and Test cases with hands on technical knowledge Hands-on experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium). Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Experience in working in offshore and onsite model. Key Responsibilities:
Define and implement QA strategies, test plans, and test cases tailored to telecom systems Coordinate with cross-functional teams including development, product management, and operations to ensure quality objectives are met. Oversee execution of functional, regression, integration, and system testing. Manage defect tracking and resolution using tools like JIRA Drive automation initiatives and maintain test automation frameworks. Ensure compliance with telecom standards and regulatory requirements. Define and execute test strategies for functional, UI/UX, compatibility, functional testing. Validate mobile app behavior under various network conditions Provide regular QA status reports, metrics, and risk assessments to stakeholders. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement. The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
