Job Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Vision:
Define and communicate the strategic vision and roadmap, ensuring alignment with financial crime compliance trends, regulatory changes, and customer needs. Market Research & Competitive Analysis:
Conduct market analysis to identify customer challenges, emerging risks, and competitive positioning in the financial crime compliance space. Regulatory Compliance & Industry Standards:
Stay updated on FCC regulations (e.g., BSA, AMLD, FATF, OFAC, FinCEN) and ensure product features align with compliance requirements. Backlog Management & Prioritization:
Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring feature development aligns with client priorities and business objectives. Stakeholder Engagement:
Act as the primary liaison between customers, development teams, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, validate use cases, and ensure seamless product delivery. Feature Definition & Development:
Work with development teams to define clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications for new product enhancements and integrations. Customer & User Experience Focus:
Collaborate with UX/UI teams to enhance usability and effectiveness of interfaces and workflows. Performance Monitoring:
Define and track product KPIs to measure effectiveness, adoption, and compliance accuracy. Use data-driven insights to improve the product. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with sales, marketing, and professional services teams to ensure successful go-to-market strategies and customer onboarding. Required Skills
6+ years of product management experience in financial crime compliance (FCC), AML, fraud detection, or RegTech. Experience with AML and fraud detection platforms, including transaction monitoring, case management, and sanctions screening systems. Familiarity with data analytics tools like SQL, Python, or Tableau for compliance reporting. Strong understanding of financial crime risk management, AML solutions, and transaction monitoring platforms. Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as BSA, AMLD, KYC, and sanctions compliance. Experience working with AI-driven AML solutions, behavioral analytics, and risk-scoring models. Agile & Product Development Experience: Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe). Expertise in writing user stories, backlog grooming, and sprint planning. Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to interpret financial crime patterns and compliance risks using data-driven insights. Communication & Stakeholder Management: Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey product vision, requirements, and roadmaps. Ability to collaborate with internal teams and external customers, including financial institutions, regulators, and compliance officers. Preferred Qualifications: Certifications: ACAMS, CFE, ICA Diploma in AML, or equivalent financial crime compliance certifications.
