This Information System Security Officer (ISSO) role supports the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) in developing, maintaining, and overseeing cybersecurity for assigned classified and unclassified F-35 systems at

Luke AFB, AZ . Key responsibilities include: Implementing and validating cybersecurity controls, including continuous monitoring. Supporting development and maintenance of cybersecurity plans and procedures. Monitoring for non-compliance, threats, and reporting activities and risks. Ensuring POA&Ms or remediation plans are in place for vulnerabilities and overseeing corrective actions. Collecting and maintaining data to meet reporting requirements. Analyzing data from various sources (e.g., Splunk, ELA, ePO, ACAS) to identify and mitigate threats. Investigating and responding to cyber events, incidents, and non-compliance, including reporting and briefing. Managing data handling and storage requirements for government data and media. Conducting self-inspections and preparing for customer inspections. Enforcing security policies and procedures professionally. Systems vary in classification and complexity; some work may require non-standard shifts and additional responsibilities. Who we are

Final Transferable Secret security clearance within the last five years or enrolled in Continuous Vetting. Ability to obtain and maintain SAP access. Certification meeting or exceeding DoD 8570.01-M IAT II requirements (e.g., CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP; or higher certifications). Experience in a cyber workforce role per NICE or DoD frameworks. Desired Skills

Experience as an ISSO, ISSM, or related DoD Cyber Workforce Role on F-35 systems. Knowledge of compliance with laws, regulations, and policies like DoDI 8510.01, JSIG, DoDM 5205.07, NIST SP 800 series. Experience with system authorization processes and related artifacts (SSP, SCTM, Security CONOPs, SOPs). Additional Information
