What you'll do
The
Director of Dialysis & Rehabilitative Services
and in partnership with the Chief, Nephrology, provides clinical/operational oversight, leadership and support for the Nurse Supervisors and clinical/operational staff in the Bassett Healthcare Network’s Dialysis Departments. The Director also is responsible for overall management coordination of network rehabilitative services. The Director participates as a member of Bassett Healthcare Network Directors Team, in such a manner that the organization is able to fulfill its mission on a day-to-day basis and over the longer term. This position is specifically accountable for overall clinical nursing practice, operations, and performance of the dialysis nursing and rehabilitative staff, with direct accountability for clinical practice as it relates to quality and regulatory compliance, interventional and procedural based activities. The Director is a triad partner to the senior management team and the Department of Nursing Leadership Team. Accountable for operational results with responsibility of strategic planning, clinical operations, financial and human resource management, program development, management and promotion, and supports practitioner recruitment and retention. Initiates or is assigned responsibility for managing operating system tactical projects to advance departmental and organizational goals. Access and review the organizational structure to position the departments to pursue the mission, vision and network strategic objectives. Financial Resource Management Involved and/or responsible for planning, developing and implementing the operational budget and assumes accountability to report variances and manage budgets. Assures that all departmental capital and operating budgets are developed in a timely and accurate manner. Assures that budgets link effectively to the corporate strategic and annual operating plans. Verifies monthly financial analyses are available to dyad chief and executive leaders. Ensures compliance with reimbursement regulations and provides information to maximize reimbursement funding. What we need from you Education: 4 Year/Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, required Master's Degree in Healthcare Exec/NSG, preferred Experience: 5 years Dialysis experience, required 5 years Leadership experience (Supervisor or above), required Licensure/Certifications: NYS RN Nursing License, required Valid Driver's License, required BLS Certification, required Skills: Analysis & Evaluation Clinical Skills Manage People Leadership Listening Team Building Physical Requirements: Light Work - Exerting up to 20 lbs of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Occasional balancing, climbing, crouching, grasping, kneeling, lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, repetitive motion, stooping, visual acuity (color, depth, perception). Frequent standing, walking. Constant typing/clerical/dexterity, hearing, seeing/monitor/computer use, talking. Hazards: Occasional bodily fluids/bloodborne exposure. Working Conditions: Occasional extreme temperatures, odors. Travel: Occasional Travel - The job may require travel from time-to-time, but not on a regular basis.

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards. USD $120,557.57/Yr. Pay Range Maximum:
