This role is key for driving critical platform deliverables like Hadoop platform modernization (MDP) program to enable a federated compute / storage data lake, refresh and expand Hadoop infrastructure, onboarding and managing new products like chatGPS (GenAI product for Banking GTS), Cirata, SingleStore and many more in pipeline. It also has impact on key regulatory / NPT deliverables in pipeline for this year - GMA Data Lake expansion for Markets Strategic Risk and PnL (SRPL) program, Cloudera Data Services enablement / adoption across Markets/Risk Hadoop platforms, FRTB/FRVaR DQHub/GMDM controls, MRT Hadoop for ACPR French regulatory program and other business / technology engagements for active Hadoop/Data Science use cases across Global Markets, Banking and Risk. Responsibilities: Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements Utilizes multiple architectural components (across data, application, business) in design and development of client requirements Performs Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) activities Contributes to story refinement and definition of requirements Participates in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle Contributes to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance), analyze test reports, identify any test issues/errors, and triage the underlying cause Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas Required Qualifications: 5+ Years Experience Hadoop, Kafka, Spark, Impala, Hive, Hbase Strong knowledge of Hadoop Architecture, HDFS, Hadoop Cluster and Hadoop Administrator's role Intimate knowledge of fully integrated AD/Kerberos authentication Experience setting up optimum cluster configurations Debugging knowledge of YARN Hands-on with analyzing various Hadoop log files, compression, encoding, & file formats Expert level knowledge of Cloudera Hadoop components such as HDFS, Sentry, HBase, Kafka, Impala, SOLR, Hue, Spark, Hive, YARN, Zookeeper and Postgres Strong technical knowledge: Unix/Linux; Database (Sybase/SQL/Oracle), Java, Python, Perl, Shell scripting, Infrastructure Experience in Monitoring & Alerting, and Job Scheduling Systems Strong grasp of automation Desired Qualifications: Experience working on Big Data Technologies Cloudera Admin / Dev Certification Certification in Cloud, Docker-Container, OpenShift Technologies Skills: Application Development Automation Collaboration DevOps Practices Solution Design Agile Practices Architecture Result Orientation Solution Delivery Process User Experience Design Analytical Thinking Data Management Risk Management Technical Strategy Development Test Engineering Shift: 1st shift (United States of America)

Pay Transparency details US - IL - Chicago - 540 W Madison St - Bank Of America Plaza (IL4540) Pay and benefits information Pay range $88,800.00 - $145,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set. Discretionary incentive eligible This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan.
