Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Provide a work environment that prioritizes the health and safety of our employees and trade partners Cultivate and environment that reflects Beazer Culture Oversee and manage vertical construction operations and at least one other major department Anticipate possible obstacles and propose favorable solutions Achieve company benchmarks including cycle time, HERS scores, ACH, and customer surveys Develop and implement process improvements. Interviewing, selecting training, developing, and disciplining employees Ensures the division is in compliance with all policies of the Company as well as local municipalities Sets clear goals and expectations and creates a culture of accountability Ensures the division’s organization structure is appropriate to support current and future operations Establish a business plan and pricing strategies in conjunction with Division President. Manages operating budgets for profits and losses. Seek and partner with reliable trades Conduct site visits weekly, including safety and quality walks

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree preferred with 5 - 10 years’ experience in homebuilding industry, including management experience. Experience in Construction, Purchasing and Estimating and Customer Service in homebuilding industry required.

Skills & Abilities

Ability to oversee multiple departments and juggle multiple priorities Ability to read site plans and plan details Lead talent with humility and confidence Strong management skills that foster teamwork and a results-oriented team Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. Ability to perform under high level of stress and ability to make independent decisions. Computer skills - Ability to use Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Outlook, Zoom, and Buildpro

Physical Requirements

Typical office environment Ability to operate a motor vehicle and travel between construction sites regularly Ability to walk on uneven surfaces Ability to climb stairs (2 story home) Construction sites where temperature, weather and noise may vary; may encounter electrical, dust, poor ventilation, dangerous machinery and moving objects and toxic conditions.

Additional Information

The California pay range for this position is from $190,000 to $210,000 annually. The exact rate of pay will be based on work location(s), position, and experience level. In no instance will Beazer Homes pay less than the minimum wage.Seniority level
