Task Order Project Manager (TOPM)
will lead the execution of large, complex task orders supporting Department of Defense (DoD) initiatives. This role involves engaging with key stakeholders such as Contracting Officers, Task Order Managers, and customer agency representatives to ensure the successful delivery of technical solutions, project schedules, budgets, and compliance standards. Responsibilities
Lead and manage complex task order activities to ensure timely delivery of technical solutions. Support the Program Manager in coordinating with government stakeholders (KO, COR, Task Order Managers). Oversee project planning, scheduling, execution, and performance monitoring across all task orders. Maintain compliance with contractual, technical, and security standards. Develop risk management plans and proactively address issues impacting deliverables. Collaborate with systems engineering, cost analysis, and configuration management teams. Prepare and present status reports, briefings, and audits to senior government leadership. Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field OR four (4) additional years of related experience. Ten (10) years of project management or relevant experience in IT or consulting. Fifteen (15) years of leadership experience with increasing responsibility in IT or consulting. Two (2) years supporting DoD Program Acquisition Category (ACAT) I or III level IT programs. Required Skills
Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP or equivalent). IAM Level III Certification (e.g., CISSP, CISM, C-CISO, GSLC). Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience in manual and automation testing, creating test plans, and developing test strategies. Experience working in UAT environments and supporting end-users. Ability to understand and document business processes effectively. Desired Skills
Deep understanding of DoD acquisition policies and lifecycle requirements. Proven success managing large-scale federal IT programs. Leadership in high-stakes government environments. Knowledge of systems engineering, cost analysis, and configuration management. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Security Clearance Must hold
Secret
