Serves in both a clinical and leadership capacity, depending on specialty and location. Responsibilities
In a dyad leadership structure, responsible for monitoring and improving the level of care for patients. Managing Medical Directors oversee participant care, clinical outcomes, and the implementation and oversight of quality assessment, performance improvement, and performance management. Collaborate closely with the Chief Medical Officer (CMO), quality leadership, and other executive teams to implement strategies that enhance patient care and improve medical practice. Physician licensed to practice medicine in Illinois. Minimum 5 years’ experience as a licensed physician and 3 years in clinical leadership. Eligible to prescribe narcotics if applicable, licensed by the DEA and Illinois. Board certified or eligible in the appropriate specialty(s). Eligible for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal programs.
