We are representing a nationally recognized law firm seeking to expand its Cybersecurity & Privacy practice with the addition of a
Junior Partner focused on Incident Response . This position is fully remote and offers a strong platform for attorneys looking to take the next step in their practice — with the infrastructure, team support, and client flow to meaningfully grow without the demands of business development from day one. Role & Responsibilities
Serve as the lead point of contact in responding to cybersecurity incidents on behalf of corporate clients, including data breaches, ransomware events, and network intrusions.
Oversee associate attorneys, technical vendors, and forensic teams in breach response workflows.
Advise clients on state, federal, and international breach notification laws, including GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA, and NYDFS.
Coordinate with cyber insurers, law enforcement, and regulators as necessary.
Support client relationships and contribute to thought leadership and practice development.
Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure rapid response capability.
Qualifications
J.D. and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
6–10+ years of experience in cybersecurity incident response and data privacy law.
Prior law firm experience required; strong preference for attorneys with experience advising on complex breach matters.
Familiarity with cyber insurance panel work is a plus.
Excellent client management, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to work independently and thrive in a remote, fast-paced, and collaborative environment.
