Responsibilities We are seeking a forward-thinking, self-driven & energetic Principal Application SRE Solutions Lead to: Oversee production environments through SRE-driven orchestration, connecting ecosystem components, diagnosing anomalies proactively, and automating remediations to minimize business impact and improve yield. Drive design activities during program cycles, applying SRE and quality assurance principles to enhance application design and increase first pass yield. This role requires expertise in modern and legacy application solutions, SRE tools, IT operations, and leadership skills. Key responsibilities include: Defining and enforcing logging, monitoring, and observability standards across applications. Embedding non-functional requirements such as SLA/SLO/SLI and error budgets into product engineering from the start. Shaping the SRE platform design with input from production, business, and engineering teams. Ensuring diagnostics, anomaly detection, and automation are effectively integrated for use by SRE and support teams. Overseeing SRE operations during US shift hours, collaborating on escalations and incident management. Optimizing support operations through automation and modern tools. Monitoring and improving ecosystem performance alongside peer SRE team members. Working with support teams to provide SRE insights and tooling. Partnering with product managers and engineers to enhance services. Compensation and Benefits: Salary range: $118,700 - $198,800, based on skills and experience. 15+ years in technology, working with cross-functional teams including product management, IT, and engineering. Bachelor’s degree in a related field. At least 5 years improving and transforming IT operations through SRE. Experience with modern application stacks, cloud-native technologies, and databases. Familiarity with SRE/APM tools, NoSQL databases, Kafka, Azure, and programming languages like Python or Java. Strong analytical skills, judgment, and ability to work cross-functionally. Understanding of SRE and ITSM processes, with a track record of service improvement. Leadership by influence, relationship-building, and partnership skills. Soft Skills: Transformational mindset, quick decision-making, positive attitude, and proactive approach to challenges.
