Support the Director of Global Trade Compliance in developing and embedding trade compliance in business processes. Assist with the creation and updating of trade-related policies, procedures, and training materials. Support the development of tools to automate recordkeeping. Work with Trade Compliance Focals across the company to ensure standards and procedures are followed. Develop and deliver trade compliance training and communicate policy updates to stakeholders. Perform trade compliance audits, support reviews, monitoring, and corrective actions. Assist in license management, including development, submission, and compliance of licenses. Support daily export and import compliance operations and integration into key business processes. Manage supervisory duties for direct reports, including performance management and goal setting. Licensing Management
Oversee license application processes and responses to inquiries. Develop compliance plans for licenses and manage license quantities and values. Implement governance for ITAR exemptions and EAR exceptions. Support automation of export control management and train staff on license management. Screening
Oversee third-party screening programs and systems integration. Manage relationships with screening service providers. Develop analyses for deconfliction and diversion, and train staff on screening procedures. Shipping
Coordinate with Logistics on freight and export control compliance. Supervise shipping personnel to ensure accurate documentation. Education & Experience
BA or BS in business or related field preferred; experience in Trade Compliance focusing on EAR, ITAR, and US Customs. 8+ years in import/export regulations, with 3+ years managing a team preferred. Skills
Deep knowledge of trade regulations, classification, and compliance tools. Effective communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office; US Customs Broker license is a plus. Working Conditions & Physical Requirements Standard office environment, ability to work full-time, extended hours, and travel as needed. Must be able to sit/stand for long periods and communicate effectively. Safety & Quality Responsibilities Follow EHS procedures, maintain ISO standards, and uphold quality and environmental policies.
