Banner University Medical Group is seeking an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Supervisor to join the Division of Neonatology at the University Medical Center Tucson Campus. The NNP Supervisor will work in an academic setting, providing coverage for our Level IV NICU, collaborating closely with neonatologists to deliver patient care, and offering guidance and education to residents. The role aims to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities

Provide clinical support on resident/attending/NNP teams in a 38-bed unit. Attend all high-risk deliveries and perform procedures such as intubations, chest tubes, arterial lines, PICCs, and ventilator management. Participate as an NRP instructor. Consult with high-risk mothers in labor and delivery. Collaborate with physicians and clinicians in a team approach to patient care. Oversee the NNP team, including scheduling and performance evaluations. Participate in protocol development and implementation alongside medical leadership. Location & Schedule

Main Location:

Banner- University Medical Center Tucson, 1625 N. Campbell Avenue, Tucson, AZ. Work Schedule:

Full-time (1.0 FTE), rotating shifts including days, nights, and weekends, with no on-call duties and protected administrative time. Charting assistance available, and attendings handle daily notes. Opportunities for teaching and research are available. Qualifications

Neonatal Nurse Practitioner with at least 3 years of supervisory experience. Experience in Level III or Level IV NICUs. Certification as a Nurse Practitioner by the State Board of Nursing with prescribing privileges in Arizona. Current NPR Certification. Current prescribing privileges, including a DEA license for controlled substances. About Banner & Tucson
