Senior Network Analyst
-- someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will support Local and Wide Area Networks, and WiFi networks by installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining an institutional data network. Job Duties & Responsibilities Resolve complex technical issues involving network equipment and the software which operates it, high availability applications, clustered hosts, in a multi-protocol, mixed media environment (copper and fiber-optic cabling). Participate in resolution of complex technical issues involving multiple applications, systems, and technical teams following Departmental “Crisis Management” guidelines. Partner with other teams to evaluate and mitigate risks of cyber threats to ensure compliance with organizational standards. Understand and conduct analysis of packet capture data. Engage with vendors to resolve complex technical issues as needed. Plan network growth. Install network hardware. Coordinate establishment of network to host connection. Maintain network documentation. Manage network equipment and hot spare device inventory. Perform other essential job-related duties. Skills & Requirements High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum 7 years' experience in information systems. Bachelor’s degree can substitute for four (4) years of work experience; Master’s degree can substitute for two (2) years. Current vendor/industry certifications are a plus.
