Soni
The Training and Development Manager is responsible for the training and professional development of the organizations’ employees. The primary focus is to optimize talent development, ensure use efficiency within our tech stack and maintain high-quality standards across the organization. This person will collaborate with our executive leadership team and key stakeholders to define functional goals, scope of work, and deliverables. This role will report to the Director of Strategy & Operations.
Key Responsibilities
Training & Development Build and expand Soni’s training platform — from onboarding to advanced performance tools Design impactful content (video, live, written) that’s clear, modern, and results-focused Collaborate with managers to embed training into daily workflows and team rituals Lead systems and process training, including desk coaching and live workshops Empower leaders to take ownership of team development through structured support Oversee adoption and application of tools, from STP process to client targeting strategies Ensure training is aligned to business objectives and role-specific expectations
Performance Management & Accountability Own the full performance management lifecycle — from day one to promotion or exit Create and manage 30/60/90/120/150/180-day performance checkpoints Define role-specific billing benchmarks, KPIs, and timelines for success Partner with leaders to establish individual and team performance goals Monitor data to identify trends, gaps, and top/bottom performers Deliver clear, data-driven feedback to leadership to guide coaching and employment decisions Play a key role in the “go/no-go” decision-making process on employee fit and future
Operational Excellence Deliver best-in-class process training (STP, submissions, client targeting) Equip employees with tactical tools: time management, project planning, systems use Ensure systems adoption is tied to measurable outcomes Maintain structure and consistency across all Soni offices
Qualifications ·Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) ·Experience with CRM/ATS platforms; Bullhorn ·Experience with recruitment tools; LinkedIn, Indeed, Dice, ZoomInfo, etc. ·Strong communication skills; highly proficient in writing and presenting ·Highly organized; project management experience is a plus ·Ability to travel nationally to visit all office locations
This position is eligible for a discretionary performance-based bonus. You would be eligible for company benefits upon employment.
