Embedded Software Developer

to work on challenging, mission-critical projects at

Annapolis Junction, MD , directly impacting national security and intelligence missions. Our Cyber experts operate at the mission’s edge, employing advanced cyber techniques across various environments, including IoT, offensive and defensive cyber operations, SIGINT analysis, and data science. We are expanding to achieve unprecedented accomplishments—contributing to national and global security. As an Embedded Developer (all levels) in our Intel Division, you will perform hardware and software analysis, create proof-of-concept, and develop products supporting critical missions. Your programming will primarily be in C, with some tasks involving C++, assembly, and other languages. If you're ready to make an immediate impact, read on and apply. Responsibilities include: Developing and maintaining embedded software for high-performance systems. Programming embedded microprocessors and ensuring integration with custom electronics. Implementing and optimizing TCP/IP protocols for embedded systems. Leading AI/ML development using tools like Python and PyTorch. Building and modifying Linux OS from source for embedded applications. Developing Linux device drivers and supporting Linux environments. Collaborating with hardware engineers on circuit design and testing. Troubleshooting and optimizing system performance with lab equipment. Providing technical leadership and mentoring. Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Math, Physics, Computer Science, or related field. At least 5 years of embedded software development experience. Experience with embedded Linux and building Linux from source. Experience with bare metal or RTOS on microcontrollers. Proficiency in Embedded C/C++, Rust, and Python. Knowledge of embedded test frameworks and hardware-in-the-loop testing. Experience with bus protocols (USB, UART, I2C, SPI) and TCP/IP stack. Understanding electronics and ability to read schematics. Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph. Salary Range:
