The campus is located on 30 acres in Ivins, Utah, with a mild, dry climate and over 300 days of sunshine annually, near many parks and outdoor attractions. Primary Purpose Participate in teaching and clinical activities in OPP at RVUCOM-SU. Essential Job Functions Participate in education and mentorship of students and residents, including classroom, clinical, research, and active learning environments. Assess and evaluate students and residents, providing feedback and remedial support. Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement initiatives. Provide clinical services in assigned settings, consistent with training and credentials. Engage in service activities including committee participation, community outreach, and professional organizations. Maintain a professional development portfolio documenting teaching, scholarly activities, and service. Work cooperatively with colleagues and support staff, demonstrating professionalism and adaptability. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of medical education delivery, curriculum, and teaching models. Skill in applying osteopathic principles and manipulative treatment. Ability to mentor and motivate students and peers. Minimum Qualifications DO degree with current Board Certification or Eligibility in appropriate specialty. Proficiency in Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine/Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. Leadership and scholarly activity in clinical or educational settings. Good standing with regulatory boards. Ability to obtain Utah medical licensure and malpractice coverage. Preferred Qualifications Over 2 years of academic teaching in OPP. Leadership or administrative experience in medical education or research. Additional notes:
