Pratt & Whitney's Compression Systems Engineering (CSE) Module Center is seeking a technical leader, mentor, and coach to advance impact dynamics, a critical subdiscipline within aerospace engineering. The Impact Dynamics Senior Fellow will foster growth across multiple organizations and contribute to the development of best practices, modeling validation, and industry recognition. Key Responsibilities
Define best practices for software suites and validation of tools, ensuring industry standards are met. Review modeling practices and validation processes for rigor and engineering accuracy. Collaborate across RTX and PWC to share knowledge and establish industry standards. Engage with the global impact community through conferences and publications. Build relationships with DoD, DoE, FAA, EASA, and other agencies to leverage expertise and influence regulations. Support Model Based Enterprise initiatives and optimize impact dynamics workflows and resources. Address productivity and speed of impact dynamics processes. Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in engineering with 14+ years of experience, or an Advanced Degree with 12+ years of experience. Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance; U.S. citizenship required. Preferred Qualifications
Active security clearance. Expertise in impact dynamics recognized within the field. Additional Information
This role is onsite at Middletown, CT, with a salary range of $176,000 - $352,000, plus benefits and potential incentives. Candidates must be eligible for a U.S. security clearance and meet citizenship requirements.
