Data Analytics Manager Location:
Dallas - Shared Services Additional Posting Details: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm Hybrid (Remote Options Considered) Job Description: Duties/Responsibilities
Manage the design, development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of data analytics solutions. Oversee analytics team operations, promote best practices, and ensure timely, accurate analytics products. Serve as a primary liaison for multiple analytics projects, building relationships and delivering high-quality analytic products. Analyze healthcare data from various sources to provide insights for clinical, operational, financial, and strategic initiatives. Document project requirements, including assumptions, risks, issues, and definitions, to develop realistic project plans. Assess data needs, ensure data integrity, and determine data collection and analysis methods. Translate business requirements into technical data specifications and workflows. Present data analysis results effectively using visualizations and storytelling, communicating clearly with stakeholders. Prepare business communications, reports, and presentation materials to meet stakeholder needs. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, interpret data results, and make informed recommendations for healthcare improvements. Conduct advanced analytics like benchmarking and predictive modeling to support decision-making. Maintain data documentation and support data governance and change management processes. Lead vendor searches, comparisons, and selection processes, staying current on upgrades and documentation. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance work efficiency and customer satisfaction. Coach and develop team members, ensuring quality work and professional growth. Foster a culture of teamwork, customer service, innovation, and continuous improvement. Required Skills/Abilities
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare analytics, computer science, data science, IT, or related field required. Master’s degree or higher preferred in healthcare analytics, computer science, or quantitative disciplines. At least 8 years of healthcare analytics, reporting, or data management experience required. At least 8 years of experience with data visualization and BI tools like MS SQL, Power BI, Tableau, SAS, or R required. Minimum 2 years in a management role or managing large projects required. Knowledge of relational databases and data warehouses required. Epic or Workday experience required; Epic Cogito certification desired or to be obtained within six months. Proficiency in MS Office applications required. About Us
