The Vermont Country Store is seeking a Product Buyer Assistant to support our Product Development Manager by coordinating merchandising activities across one or more product categories. This role ensures every product detail is accurate and complete, helping us deliver an exceptional experience to our customers.What You'll Do:Assist the Product Development Manager in executing category and company goals. Communicate with vendors to collect detailed information for both new and existing products.Partner with internal departments to maintain and update accurate product data.Receive, tag, and prepare product samples for photography and advertising needs.Monitor and track product pricing, competitive analysis, and seasonal audits.Provide day-to-day administrative support including meeting coordination, note-taking, and data entry.Serve as the department's point person when the Product Development Manager is unavailable.What You Bring to the Team:Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.A proactive, team-focused attitude with great communication abilities.Professionalism when interacting with vendors and colleagues across departments.Ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).Who We Are:The Vermont Country Store is a family-owned business that's been delighting customers since 1946.
