Data Engineer The primary role of the Data Engineer is to develop and support processes needed for data analysis, reporting, and maintenance across all business areas. They will implement methods to improve data reliability and quality, combining raw information from different sources to create consistent, machine-readable formats. The individual will develop and test architectures that enable data extraction and transformation for predictive or prescriptive modeling. This role requires independence, judgment, and problem-solving skills. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Integrate different data sources, transform, and load data. Build data systems and pipelines. Manage responses to ad-hoc requests from business functions. Conduct complex data analysis and report results. Build algorithms and prototypes. Enhance data quality and reliability. Assist with special projects across products, geographies, and business units. Troubleshoot problems, identify solutions, and resolve issues. Design and implement internal process improvements. Work independently within required timeframes. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: 10+ years of related experience Technical expertise with data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques Hands-on experience with SQL database design Strong numerical and analytical skills Expertise in Microsoft Azure stack, Python scripting, T-SQL, ADF Reporting skills are a plus Bachelors degree in computer science, IT, or applied math EZCORP is an Equal Opportunity Employer #J-18808-Ljbffr
