Physician Recruiter

Responsible for developing resources for applicants and recruiting qualified candidates. Develops recruitment strategies to support the organization's staffing goals. Manages a partnership with department chairs or administration. Ensures collaboration in recruiting outstanding candidates. Hybrid position located in Dallas, TX. Physician Recruiter will split every work week between onsite (Administration Building and BSWH network) and working from home. Travel requirements throughout the year (i.e. conferences, career fairs, residency/fellowship programs). Essential Functions of the Role: Researches and examines recruitment opportunities and resources; provides a recruitment plan for Senior Staff Physicians. Diligently tracks and ensures timely follow-up with applicants. Identifies effective advertising strategies, composes ad copy as needed and places ads in a timely manner. Partnering with department leadership, identifies and attends local, state, and national conferences. Utilizes appropriate search methods as a resource for qualified candidates. Manages daily candidate activity to ensure they are on track in the hiring process. Addresses any questions or concerns. Effectively and proactively communicates with the department chairperson and directors. Keeps them informed of open positions and recruitment activities. Partners with the clinic department chairperson and directors/managers to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies. Provides guidance to department chairmen and directors about recruitment, selection processes, and related policies. Participates in the development, review and update of policies, procedures and practices related to recruitment services; Makes recommendations about improvements in the delivery of recruitment services. Purposefully uses and enhances information systems to maximize technology in recruitment and application processes. Purposefully pursues, develops, and maintains professional relationships with medical organizations, search services, and community resources to support physician recruitment goals. Performs other position appropriate duties as required in a competent, professional and courteous way. Key Success Factors: Two to three years of experience in Human Resources preferred. Three to five years of experience in Provider Recruiting preferred. Qualifications: EDUCATION - Bachelor's or 4 years of work experience above the minimum qualification EXPERIENCE - 2 Years of Experience
