Open Rank Academic Surgical Oncologist – Medical College of Wisconsin
The Medical College of Wisconsin is pleased to announce our search for a full-time Surgical Oncology faculty member with a General Surgical Oncology and HPB practice in the Department of Surgery and the Division of Surgical Oncology. Fellowship training in Complex General Surgical Oncology is required. Applicants must have an MD or equivalent degree and be Board Certified/Board Eligible by the American Board of Surgery. Academic Rank and compensation are dependent on qualifications and experience.
This clinical practice will be based at Froedtert Hospital, the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center and the expanding clinical enterprise of the Medical College of Wisconsin. Applicants should have a demonstrated interest in cancer research and programmatic development as evidenced by peer-reviewed publications and/or grant submissions.
About The Department Of Surgery
The Department of Surgery is comprised of 11 divisions, including 9 clinical divisions, a Division of Education, and a Division of Research, including >110 clinical faculty. The Division of Surgical Oncology includes 20 academic faculty and five clinical programs: endocrine, breast, skin and soft tissue, gastrointestinal, and hepatobiliary disease. There is a strong culture of teamwork and collaboration in Surgical Oncology and our faculty, APPs and staff are committed to making Milwaukee Medicine the best medicine in the world. In addition to training exceptional residents, we are fortunate to have a fellowship program in Complex Surgical Oncology among a number of other fellowships in the department.
