Daikin Applied is seeking a

District Service and Sales Manager

for the

San Antonio district

who will be responsible for the management and leadership of the field service office. This includes oversight of the Service and Solution Account Managers and Field Service Technician teams in San Antonio, Austin, and the RGV.

The District Manager will be fully responsible for P&L and financing the office to ensure revenue and profit goals are met. The District Manager will also be responsible for overseeing customer relations. This role requires a leader who will inspire others and drive district growth activities to meet annual quotas focused on operating income, revenue, and maintenance agreements.

Location : Onsite in San Antonio with travel to service offices and customer locations in Austin and the RGV.

What you will do: Develop business plans, strategies, and objectives to ensure quotas and financial plans are met or exceeded. Plan and align work and resources so that customer needs, contractual obligations, and service work are completed within appropriate timeframes and meet quality expectations. Interface with internal and external business partners, including Manufacturer’s Reps, Equipment Sales Managers, the National Accounts team, and the Solutions team to ensure sales objectives are communicated and achieved. Drive the implementation of Daikin culture, including prioritization of safety and People-Centered Management, for the district. Provide leadership for service teams, including Service Coordinators, Service Sales Representatives, and technicians. Coach and develop employees to maximize performance and potential. Manage performance through recognition, regular feedback, performance reviews, and/or corrective action. Recruit, interview, hire, and ensure that training is provided for new employees. Encourage and provide ongoing training and skill development for all employees. Include staff in planning and decision-making, and foster a focus on quality and process improvement. Take responsibility for subordinates’ activities. Solicit and apply customer feedback (internal and external); improve processes, products, and services. Manage company assets and inventory to ensure proper cost control and operational efficiency. Ensure the local office complies with all federal, state, and local legal regulations and statutes, including prevailing wage, legal posting requirements, and safety regulations. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience considered. 6+ years of related work experience in HVAC sales, service, or an adjacent industry. Commercial HVAC experience strongly preferred. 4+ years of direct and/or indirect people leadership experience. Actual pay depends on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
