Overview
We are looking for an experienced
Business Development and Sales
professional to lead our growth in the
Americas Structured Products
market. This is a front-line, client-facing role requiring deep industry knowledge of US retail structured products, particularly the operational, legal, and regulatory aspects. You will develop relationships with front-office stakeholders at investment banks (trading, sales, structuring) and originate new business for our structured product technology and services solutions.
This position is based in New York and will be key to our regional growth. We operate a hybrid working policy, but with the nature of the role there will be an expectation to be based in our Manhattan office with the ability to meet clients on a regular basis.
Job Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Lead business development for our Structured Products business in the Americas market Identify and manage new client relationships across structured product trading, structuring, sales, technology, legal and COO stakeholders Build a pipeline of qualified opportunities through your network, proactive outreach, and industry events Lead client conversations focused on operational workflows, documentation, regulation (e.g., SEC, FINRA), and platform capabilities Understand each customer’s business objectives, challenges, and issues and how we present Delta Capita's (DC) outcome-based solutions to meet these objectives. Shape client proposals with internal product and delivery teams Drive and own the full sales cycle – from prospecting to proposal to close Maintain accurate CRM records, sales funnel updates, and reporting Point of contact for existing clients, responsible for managing existing client relationships and driving renewal opportunities Document and manage dynamic account plans, encapsulating business requirements including white space and clear competitive replacement strategies Internal stakeholder management ensuring effective communication and coordination across the organisation, with all levels of seniority
Required Experience
Significant experience in the US retail structured products market Deep understanding of legal, regulatory and operational processes of structured products Network of contacts in the front office of structured products businesses at US investment banks Experience managing complex sales cycles and relationship-based sales and/or onboarding of vendor contracts within investment banks Exposure to technology, resource augmentation, and managed services models in financial services
