Project Engineering Manager
to join our team supporting nuclear generating stations across the Midwest. In this role, you’ll serve as a technical leader and liaison between engineering teams and the client, guiding complex plant modification projects from concept to completion. You’ll bring structure, clarity, and high standards to fast-moving project environments—without losing sight of safety, quality, or the bigger picture. This is a hybrid position requiring 2–3 days per week onsite at client locations in the Detroit/Toledo corridor. What You’ll Be Responsible For Representing the engineering team in the field and maintaining strong client relationships Managing engineering activities across multiple disciplines with a focus on schedule, budget, quality, and safety Providing day-to-day technical guidance and oversight to engineering and design staff Identifying and mitigating potential project risks while finding opportunities to drive efficiency Ensuring engineering deliverables align with contract requirements, scope, and regulatory standards Participating in field walk-downs and supporting the development of Engineering Design Modification Packages in accordance with the Nuclear Standard Design Process (IP-ENG-01) Preparing and delivering project status reports and formal presentations to stakeholders What You Bring to the Role Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (from an ABET-accredited institution) Professional Engineering (PE) license in any U.S. state with the ability to obtain licensure by comity Minimum 5 years of experience working in or supporting a nuclear power facility At least 3 years of experience in an engineering leadership or supervisory capacity Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills Experience in Electrical and/or Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) engineering preferred Ability to obtain and maintain unescorted access at a nuclear power plant U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status (required due to the nature of the work) What We Offer Relocation assistance
