Solutions Engineer
to serve as a key technical and strategic resource in the presales process. You will work closely with Sales, Product, and Data Science teams to deliver tailored, high-impact AI solutions to some of the most sophisticated players in the financial world. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, developing client-focused solutions, and articulating complex ideas with clarity and confidence. You’ll become a subject matter expert on RavenPack’s product suite and play a central role in helping prospective clients evaluate, adopt, and derive value from our platform. Key Responsibilities Serve as a
subject matter expert
on RavenPack’s data and
Bigdata.com
platform features, and technical implementations. Partner with the sales team to
pursue new business opportunities , supporting the technical aspects of the sales process. Conduct
technical discovery sessions
with prospects to understand workflows, data needs, and model integration opportunities. Deliver tailored
product demonstrations
and build compelling Jupyter notebooks that showcase AI/ML capabilities and business value. Lead
proof of concept (POC)
projects, helping clients validate solutions that improve investment models, risk frameworks, or research pipelines. Collaborate with RavenPack’s global
Product and Data Science teams
to provide field insights and drive product innovation. Support RFPs, security reviews, and
technical documentation
for enterprise procurement processes. Stay informed on
financial technology trends , AI/ML use cases, and sentiment analytics applications in the investment landscape. Requirements 7 -10 years of experience in a
Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Product Specialist , or equivalent client-facing technical role. Experience in enterprise search, NLP, ML demonstrating
passion for technology Working knowledge of
financial markets Strong hands-on experience with
Python, R, or MATLAB
— especially for developing Jupyter notebooks and client prototypes. Excellent
oral and written communication
and presentation skills; comfortable engaging both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong
problem-solving
skills and the ability to think analytically under pressure. Bachelor’s degree in
Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, or related field . Excellent time management and organizational skills; able to multitask and meet tight deadlines. Why Join RavenPack Work with
