We are seeking an experienced Configuration Control Manager to lead our teams in Configuration Management, Design Checking, Technical Publications, within the aviation and defense sectors. This role is key for ensuring product integrity and accuracy during design and field operations. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining configuration management policies, overseeing design reviews, verifying engineering documents, and managing technical publications and configuration control processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in configuration management, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in relevant tools and standards. Responsibilities: Lead and oversee teams in Configuration Management, Design Checking, Technical Publications, and Configuration Control. Develop, implement, and maintain configuration management processes and policies. Manage reviews and verification of engineering designs, drawings, and specifications. Oversee creation and maintenance of technical publications. Manage the configuration control process, ensuring proper documentation, approval, and communication of changes. Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to meet standards of accuracy, compliance, and quality. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Aerospace, Defense Systems, or related field. 8+ years of engineering services experience, including 4+ years in management. Experience in multi-disciplinary design and development teams. 8+ years in configuration management within aviation and defense industries. Knowledge of standards like ISO 10007, MIL-STD-973, MIL-HDBK-61, EIA-649. Proficiency with configuration management tools and software. Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance. Preferred Qualifications: Management experience, including recruiting, mentoring, and staff development. Experience with project schedules, budgets, and program planning. Background in Aerospace and Defense, US DoD, or US Military. Certification in Configuration Management (e.g., CMII, CMPIC). Experience in technical writing and documentation. Familiarity with industry-specific standards and regulations. Estimated Salary Range: $143,487 - $197,295.
