We are looking for a Director to lead strategic growth by developing and executing go-to-market sales strategies for the government sector. This role involves driving new business, expanding existing relationships, and opening new doors. Develop and implement a national sales strategy for the SLED sector, focusing on new business and expanding existing accounts. Build strategic relationships with government leaders, procurement officials, and partners to position the firm as a trusted advisor. Collaborate internally to create tailored solutions meeting government sector needs. Manage growth across complex service portfolios and articulate value propositions in a mission-driven context. Mentor client service professionals and foster a collaborative sales culture. Navigate procurement processes, manage proposals, and support government contracting efforts. Monitor market trends, compliance, and funding opportunities to adapt strategies. Partner with marketing to create sector-specific campaigns and thought leadership. Track sales metrics, forecast revenue, and meet growth targets. Represent the firm at industry events and associations. Occasional extended hours or travel may be required. Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, Political Science, or related field. At least 10 years of progressive experience in business development, sales, or client relationships within the SLED or government sector. Proven success in securing and growing government sector engagements. Deep understanding of government budgets, policies, and funding sources. Preferred Qualifications

Advanced degree (e.g., MPA, MBA, JD). Certifications like CPG, PMP, CGFM, CFCM, GSP. Experience in healthcare, infrastructure, housing, energy, or disaster recovery services. Preferred location: Baton Rouge. The expected salary range in NYC and California is $120,000 to $250,000, with variations based on market and experience.
