Your Role on the Team
Position Summary
Incumbent provides expertise required for Electroencephalograph testing (EEG), Video/EEG monitoring and observation of Long Term video EEG Monitoring (LTM) for phase I & phase II, Evoked Potential (EVP) testing, Brain-Mapping, Electrocorticography (ECOG). Ability to monitor Phase II and Carotid cases in the operating room. Incumbent also will review and clip continuance monitoring, provides telemetry testing and other specialized procedures in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including nursing floors, intensive care units and other specialized locations.

Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties Must possess current R. EEG T. and / or R. EP T. from ABRET Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job Minimum three (3) years experience in the performance of EEG procedures in a patient care environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Current BLS certification required by time of hire Ability to monitor and mentor students and EEG technologists Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
Preferred Qualifications
Registered in Evoked Potentials (REPT) Operating room experience LTM Certificate Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms Advanced knowledge of EP and artifact detection/elimination
