leading insurance company based in New York
that's actively growing its data team as part of a major digital transformation. We're on the lookout for a
skilled Data Engineer
to help build and scale their next-gen data infrastructure . Responsibilities: You'll be a key player in designing robust, secure, and scalable data pipelines whilst fuelling analytics, reporting, and machine learning across the business. This role blends technical challenge with real business impact. Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using tools like
Airflow ,
dbt , and
Python Work with cloud-based data platforms such as
AWS ,
Snowflake , or
Redshift Design data models and develop infrastructure to support analytics and operational reporting Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and business teams to meet data needs Implement best practices in data quality, monitoring, and governance Key Skills: 3+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering Proficient in
Python ,
SQL , and modern data stack tools Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) Strong understanding of data warehousing, modeling, and pipeline orchestration Excellent communication and collaboration skills Salary & Benefits (New York-based): Base salary: $125,000–$155,000
(depending on experience) Bonus structure
