Full-time Women's Health Nurse Practitioner Needed for Women’s Health Clinic in Binghamton, NY
We are dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to women of all ages. Our practice offers gynecological care, family planning, prenatal care, menopausal management, and more. As a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on women's lives.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday 8am-5pm, with some flexibility in hours
Occasional weekend hours may be required for special events or urgent patient needs
In our modern and welcoming clinic, specifically designed to meet the unique needs of women's healthcare, you will work in a supportive environment, collaborating closely with experienced physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and support staff to deliver exceptional women's health services.
Salary:
$120,000 to $220,000 per year

Job Duties:
Conduct comprehensive women's health assessments, including medical history reviews, physical examinations, and screenings
Diagnose and treat common women's health conditions such as reproductive health issues, gynecological infections, menstrual disorders, and menopausal symptoms
Provide family planning services, including contraceptive counseling, prescribing and fitting contraceptives, and educating patients about reproductive health
Perform routine gynecological exams, Pap smears, breast exams, and other screenings
Manage prenatal care for expectant mothers, including visits, fetal monitoring, and education on pregnancy and childbirth
Collaborate with obstetricians and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal care for pregnant women
Provide counseling and education on sexual and reproductive health, STD prevention, fertility awareness, and preconception care
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, develop treatment plans, prescribe medications, and monitor treatment effectiveness
Educate patients on women's health, self-care, and preventive measures
Document patient encounters accurately in electronic health records (EHR)
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and stay updated with advancements in women's health through continuing education
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Nursing with specialization in Women's Health Nurse Practitioner
Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state
Board certification as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner
Proven clinical experience in women's health, preferably in primary care or OB/GYN
Strong knowledge of gynecology, reproductive health, prenatal care, and menopausal management
Proficiency in performing gynecological exams, Pap smears, and screenings
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively and maintain patient confidentiality
Strong organizational and time management skills
