Direct message the job poster from Dekko Creative Thinker | Passionate Leader | Strong Communicator The Product Specialist supports the Product Management team by executing critical tasks related to product lifecycle management, customer engagement, and product launch execution. This role ensures the operational success of product initiatives by coordinating across functions, collecting and analyzing data, and maintaining systems that enable product success. The Product Specialist owns key areas of tactical execution, helping deliver Dekko's innovation and growth objectives. What you'll do (Ownership Areas) Conduct Voice of Customer (VOC) interviews with target customers and OEMs. Document and summarize insights to support product improvements and innovation roadmaps. Track engagement activity and post-trade show product feedback to inform product decisions Product Lifecycle Management Document and update product lifecycle performance metrics. Support product refreshes and end-of-life (EOL) activities across departments. Oversee internal tools such as sample trackers and competitive logs to support continuous improvement and knowledge sharing. Product Launch Coordination Coordinate cross-functional execution of assigned product launches, ensuring tasks stay on schedule. Distribute product-related internal communications and support readiness with updated materials. Organize internal sales readiness meetings and product training sessions in coordination with the Product Manager and Sales team. (Support Areas) Market & Competitor Research Facilitate the research and documentation of market trends, customer needs, and competitor offerings to inform product planning. Strategic Product Roadmap Consolidate data inputs and VOC findings to support roadmap development and track project status and timelines aligned to strategic goals. Enable cross-functional GTM execution by managing internal deliverables, tracking progress, and ensuring launch readiness. Support sales and operations by organizing internal training, readiness meetings, and launch briefings. Assist in gathering and summarizing VOC, sales feedback, and post-launch learnings to inform future GTM strategy. Collaborate with the Product Manager to ensure GTM execution aligns with the broader product and innovation strategy. Ensure accurate product data is delivered on time to support the creation of enablement assets-such as marketing materials, tech sheets, presentations, and internal product reference materials-by incorporating updates from product launches and voice-of-customer (VOC) feedback (excluding brand or campaign content) Oversee design specifications and quantity requirements for samples, demo kits, and other sales readiness materials to support the field. What you'll need: 3-5 years of relevant experience in product marketing, product support, or project coordination. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and detailed tasks. Working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and project management systems. Relationship to Product Manager Role The Product Manager is responsible for defining the overall product strategy, roadmap, and long-term innovation objectives. The Product Specialist complements this role by owning the execution of defined initiatives and maintaining tactical processes that support data integrity, customer input collection, product readiness, and GTM alignment. The Product Manager leads strategic decision-making, while the Product Specialist drives operational excellence and accountability in the implementation.
