AML Compliance Team eBay’s AML Compliance team performs a critical role in the execution and management of eBay’s Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance program: ensuring eBay’s compliance with laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), the USA PATRIOT Act, and other applicable laws & regulations. We are committed to building and maintaining a "culture of compliance" to ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices.
Sr. Manager, AML Compliance eBay seeks a highly motivated individual with experience to serve as a Subsidiary Compliance & Business Initiatives Sr. Manager. This role is critical as eBay continues to grow through acquisitions and ensuring we maintain our compliance obligations and integrate effectively; working horizontally with our Product and Engineering stakeholders to build controls and integrate data & systems to serve our Compliance needs.
The Sr. Manager will work with the AML Vertical leaders across KYC, FIU, Quality Assurance, Transaction Monitoring & Analytics, and other teams to support subsidiary compliance efforts. The integration of our subsidiaries is critical to support our business growth and ensure eBay is compliant with regulations associated with each acquisition. The individual will work with eBay’s Enterprise Integration teams to provide updates, drive clarity, and ensure impacted teams are meeting requirements and deadlines.
Additionally, the AML Compliance teams have critical Product needs for day-to-day operations, including Run-the-Business (RTB) requests and Scheduled Releases, requiring close coordination with Product teams. The role involves communicating requirements, deadlines, and constraints to ensure transparency and effective collaboration. Candidates should possess:
Ability to manage multiple project initiatives across AML Domains (KYC, FIU, EDD, Sanctions, etc.)
Experience working with Product teams, including planning, requirements gathering, and prioritization
Strong collaboration skills and a positive attitude
Experience in Financial Crimes programs & oversight
Skills in scoping and building tool needs for compliance support
Relationship-building with AML leadership, Product, Engineering, and Project teams
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Ability to present to all levels within eBay
Agility in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including pivot tables
Discretion handling confidential matters
At least two years in project and problem management processes
Relevant certifications (e.g., AML Specialist, Fraud Examiner, PMP) preferred
The salary range for this position is $101,200 - $174,100. Compensation may vary based on location, skills, and experience, and may include bonuses and stock units, along with comprehensive benefits such as medical, financial, and paid time off. Details will be provided upon offer.
