Fixed Income Portfolio Manager (PM)
to join the
Corporate Investments & Liquidity Management (CILM)
team. About the Role:
The CILM team, part of Zions Wealth Management, primarily serves institutional clients including corporations, municipalities, foundations, non-profits, and public entities in the western U.S. We manage customized portfolios of short-term fixed income investments, aiming to enhance yields while ensuring safety of principal and liquidity. Our portfolios include US Treasuries, callable and non-callable Agencies, municipal bonds, commercial paper, corporate bonds, money market funds, and certificates of deposit. The
Fixed Income PM
manages and trades high-quality fixed income portfolios, supports client relationships, develops presentations, provides portfolio reviews, and drives new business growth. Experience trading taxable fixed income securities is required. The role involves market analysis, client communication, and collaboration with the team to increase market expertise. Job Responsibilities:
Manage fixed income portfolios, including construction, valuation, and sensitivity analysis. Trade Treasuries, agencies, commercial paper, and investment-grade corporate bonds. Develop and support client relationships with various institutional clients. Create and deliver presentations to clients and prospects. Meet with clients regularly to discuss portfolio strategies. Communicate portfolio strategies and market insights effectively. Represent Zions at industry events and conferences. Assist clients with operational inquiries. Collaborate with team members on investment strategies and market insights. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications:
Strong communication skills and service orientation. Ability to work collaboratively within Wealth Management. Experience with Bloomberg fixed income functionality. Proven analytical and quantitative skills. Experience managing and trading fixed income securities. Understanding of legal investment requirements (e.g., Utah Money Management Act). Education & Experience:
Bachelors degree required; CFA or MBA preferred. Minimum 10 years of fixed income management/trading experience. Ability to acquire Series 65 or 66 license. About Zions:
