LHH is partnering with a well-established organization who is looking for a skilled Senior Accountant to join their accounting team. The ideal candidate will bring a solid background in accounting with experience in managing complex financial transactions, reconciliations, and reporting processes. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and can provide expertise in accounting systems and month-end close activities. Job Responsibilities: Prepare and review general ledger entries, including cash, fixed assets, capital projects, accounts payable, and accounts receivable Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Perform and review account reconciliations for assigned general ledger accounts Serve as a subject matter expert on accounting software functionality within assigned areas Collaborate cross-functionally to meet reporting deadlines and financial close schedules Generate financial reports and analysis to support management decision-making Prepare consolidated and combined financial statements, including variance analysis and financial metrics Provide information and documentation for income tax reporting and compliance Assist with processing and posting of invoices, providing backup support for accounts payable and receivable functions May assist with payroll processing and updating employee records as needed Support management with various accounting-related tasks and special projects Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related field Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, especially advanced Excel skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and provide support to colleagues Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and compliance with company policies If you are interested in this opportunity, or if you would like to hear about additional accounting and finance opportunities, please send your resume to Arnand.Gayapershad@lhh.com Seniority level
