Role Overview Join a stealth-mode healthtech startup on a mission to modernize how clinicians and healthcare students train. This company is developing AI-powered patient simulations that provide a scalable, adaptive alternative to traditional clinical learning—empowering users to practice real-world scenarios and receive instant, data-driven feedback.
With adoption already underway across 30+ educational institutions and commercial partnerships signed, this is a rare opportunity to build from the ground up while making a real impact in the medical field.
Compensation: $90,000 – $180,000 salary + 0.50% – 2.00% equity
Key Responsibilities
Build from scratch: Lead the development of new features end-to-end, from concept to deployment.
Design AI flows: Architect agent-based interactions that simulate real-life medical scenarios and power the platform’s evaluation system.
Own the stack: Work hands-on with Next.js, Node.js, Supabase, and AWS to deliver performant, production-ready solutions.
Shape the product: Collaborate directly with founders and cross-functional stakeholders to influence technical and strategic direction.
Iterate quickly: Test and launch new features rapidly, incorporating user feedback to enhance clinical training outcomes.
Education & Qualifications
1+ years of full-stack software development experience
Proficient in: Front-end: Next.js
Back-end: Node.js
Database: Supabase (PostgreSQL)
Cloud: AWS
Able to design, implement, and ship production-grade systems
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Preferred Experience
Early-stage startup or founding team experience
Familiarity with AI agent orchestration and LLM-powered applications
Background in healthcare, medtech, or edtech products
Experience taking a product from 0→1
Why Us
Real-world impact: Help redefine how clinicians, nurses, and med students build practical skills before working with real patients.
High visibility: Work directly with the founding team—your code will shape core experiences from day one.
Early traction: Used by dozens of institutions, with significant commercial contracts in place.
Ownership & upside: Competitive salary plus meaningful equity in a high-growth, mission-focused company.
Flexible start: Remote for the first 1–2 months, then hybrid/on-site in New York City.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis now and in the future. This position does not offer sponsorship.
