Job Title: Survey Technician (GPS & Total Station Experience)Location: South Bend & Mishawaka, INPay: Based on ExperienceUnited Trades of America is seeking an experienced Survey Technician to join our team in the South Bend & Mishawaka, IN area. This role is ideal for individuals with 3-5 years of surveying experience who are proficient in GPS and total station equipment. The technician will work alongside a Civil Engineer, focusing on field surveying without the need for computer-based 3D modeling.Responsibilities:Conduct field surveys using GPS and total station equipment for construction and site development projects.Verify and establish horizontal and vertical control points.Perform topographic surveys to confirm site conditions before construction.Conduct construction staking according to layout requirements.Maintain an organized record of field data and reports.Work collaboratively with engineers and project managers to ensure accurate site layouts.Troubleshoot and calibrate survey equipment as needed.Follow all safety protocols and wear necessary PPE.Qualifications:3-5 years of field surveying experience (construction and utility preferred).Proficiency with GPS and total station equipment (Topcon or Trimble preferred).Ability to read and interpret construction plans and drawings.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Knowledge of ADA, easement, and utility staking is a plus.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Licensure as a surveyor is NOT required but is a plus.How to Apply:Apply online at or send your resume to .
