Event Designer

This is a full-time on-site role for an Event Designer based in New York, NY. The Event Designer will support the development and execution of creative event concepts, from initial mood boards to on-site installations. Working closely with our design and production teams, this role involves visualizing floor plans, assisting with spatial layouts, sourcing design elements, and contributing to the overall aesthetic direction of events. Responsibilities also include supporting client presentations, collaborating on vendor coordination, and being hands-on during event setup and breakdown. Key Responsibilities Develop visual concepts and mood boards that align with client goals and brand identity Design and layout event spaces, including furniture, decor, signage, and scenic builds Collaborate with internal creative, production, and client teams to bring ideas to life Attend client meetings and site visits to understand project needs and venue logistics Source design elements such as rentals, florals, materials, and custom fabrications Assist with event setup and on-site execution to ensure the creative vision is realized Prepare visual decks, renderings, and presentation materials Qualifications Experience in event design, interior styling, or spatial design (agency or freelance experience welcomed) Proficiency in design tools such as SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), or similar Strong sense of spatial awareness, color theory, and materiality Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment High attention to detail and strong time management Seniority level
