Provides leadership and manages the operational and financial aspects of solar construction projects and is the primary liaison with the client’s project management team. The Site Manager facilitates and ensures all work is safely delivered, constructed with required quality, and efficiently executed. They ensure adherence to standardized work plans and methods, safety and risk management policies, and review daily and weekly schedule and financial information with the site team. The Site Manager provides coaching and leadership to all site supervisory personnel, upholding the company’s culture, values, and processes. This manager will foster a team environment that motivates, inspires, educates, and develops our people to be the best professionals they can be. Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
Safety:
Ensure safe working conditions and compliance with safety procedures. Monitor and audit site safety activities, enforce safety regulations, and work towards achieving the company's TRIR goals. Supervision:
Set direction for the project team, support hiring, coaching, and evaluating employees, coordinate resources, and promote professional development. Quality:
Oversee project activities to conform with specifications and quality plans. Foster a culture of personal accountability for quality. Operations:
Coordinate project meetings, review estimates, manage project schedules, and ensure project scope adherence. Financial:
Track and report project costs, monitor budgets, and assist in change order and invoice processes. Owner/Subcontractor Relations:
Communicate effectively with owners and subcontractors, develop relationships, and ensure project goals are met. Support public relations efforts, participate in job fairs, conduct interviews, and support estimating and business development activities. Conduct site inspections, review RFIs, and ensure materials and consumables are approved and compliant. Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience. Minimum seven years supervisory experience in related construction industries. Valid driver’s license and clean MVR. Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and technical skills. Knowledge of construction equipment, drawings, safety, and project management software. Ability to relocate to project site as needed. Benefits:
