Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII) Mission Technologies Warfare Systems partners with the DoD and defense innovation ecosystem to rapidly acquire and field critical and emerging technologies, particularly integrated communications, networking, and Systems-of-Systems (SoS) technologies, to enhance national security and warfighter capabilities. Through a multiagency contracting approach, the Collaborative Operations for Battlespace Resilient Architecture (COBRA) initiative focuses on advancing these technologies to achieve multi-domain battlespace integration and resilient command and control. This includes a broad range of services such as systems engineering, cybersecurity, operational integration, and data analytics, all aimed at modernizing communications and ensuring seamless information exchange for the DoD and its allies. Analyzes and develops wireless telecommunications capabilities for multi-domain operations to maintain effective C2. Designs and builds custom applications. Designs, plans, establishes, and optimizes wireless networks. Assesses integration of Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) and Government Off-the-Shelf (GOTS) components to make recommendations on systems enhancements for optimization. Provides technical assessment of requirements and definition from conception to launch. Designs and validates RF link performance, quality, and reliability. Creates manuals and support documentation. Develops software for wireless technology. Optimizes existing network by adjusting radio network parameters, adding/deleting of neighbors and recommending possible solutions to hardware problems. Monitors and analyzes statistical and drive test data to improve system performance indicators such as dropped calls, blocked calls, origination failures, and handoff features. Supports customers in the development, acquisition, and sustainment activities of complex RF systems for Communications, Radar, and Electronic Warfare. Participates in working groups, which includes collaboration between senior leaders, Authorizing Officials (AO), security control assessors, and various Mission Partner organizations. Serves as primary advisor to make recommendation on adjudicating weaknesses or vulnerabilities. Minimum Qualifications
9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD in realted field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience. Must possess an active
