Marlborough, MA is a beautiful small city in central Massachusetts, surrounded by quaint Massachusetts towns and within day-trip distance of the Berkshires, White Mountains, and Cape Cod. For those who prefer a more urban lifestyle, we are located directly off I-495 within easy commuting distance of Boston and Cambridge (30-40 minutes), Worcester (25 minutes), Nashua, NH (45 minutes) and Providence, RI (50 minutes). About You

The ideal candidate will be a results-driven technical leader with a proven track record of developing and delivering complex, integrated electrical and mechanical systems, preferably in the battery, energy storage, utility or grid energy space. The position requires a blend of deep technical expertise, strong leadership and management skills, and the ability to drive innovation and adapt to changing conditions. Responsibilities

Lead a multi-disciplined engineering team in the development of new battery projects from design concept, detailed design, design verification, build, and delivery to the customer site. Manage and integrate contractors into the development team to meet deadlines and ensure team cohesiveness Lead the team through problem identification and resolution Drive technical requirements creation, review and tracking Track design progress against short and long term cost targets Technical review and approval of the design technical data package (TDP) elements Drives excellence throughout the project team Qualifications

Required

10+ years experience in developing and launching new products integrating electrical and mechanical systems incorporating fluid or gas flow. Proven ability to prepare and formally present concepts, progress and status of projects to executive management and customers Excellent problem solving with demonstrated experience in guiding root cause analysis Excellent organizational skills Solid understanding of engineering life cycle and methodologies Proven ability to prepare and formally present concepts, progress and status of projects to executive management and customers Superior communication skills (written and verbal) Desire to work in an environment where the team does what it takes together to make great things happen Hands on experience working with a team to build large scale prototypes Engineering Degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical Engineering All considered candidates MUST have authorization to work in the US Must be proficient in English NO agencies please! Preferred Experience developing battery or grid energy storage systems Advanced Degree in mechanical, electrical or chemical engineering Compensation & Benefits
