Position: Sr. Ops Engineer Deployment & Ramp
This role involves overseeing multiple products, programs, and projects related to deploying MSP solutions at new and operational fulfillment centers. You will coordinate installation, commissioning, and ramp-up of products, driving continuous improvement in deployment cycle time, safety, quality, and productivity. You will also suggest engineering design improvements to hardware and product teams. The role requires building relationships, capturing the voice of the customer, and managing either a full program or a region. You will handle technical aspects of automation installation and resolve project escalations at construction sites or live warehouses. The ideal candidate is proactive and independent in improving MSP technology. Travel and Project Duration
This is a travel-intensive role, with project durations from days to months across North America and potentially internationally, with travel up to 75% or more. Key Responsibilities
Develop project plans and technical solutions, including problem statements and resource requirements. Influence deployment and performance strategies with senior leadership. Manage installation of complex projects, including scope, schedule, cost, and vendor management. Plan resources and budgets, set deployment standards, and drive efficiencies. Communicate project status and performance internally and externally. Daily Activities
You will focus on deployment project management and product ramp-up support, collaborating with engineering, project managers, and operations teams to ensure readiness and performance. Travel to project sites will be required to ensure stakeholder alignment. Team Overview
The MSP CX team maximizes solutions readiness and customer satisfaction across global sites, managing quality assurance, deployment & ramp-up, and support functions. Qualifications
5+ years managing large projects Bachelor's degree; Master's in engineering, mechanical, operations, supply chain, or related STEM field preferred Experience in automation or material handling equipment Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and operations tools 3+ years leading outbound fulfillment operations Amazon is an equal opportunity employer.
